The way the app seems to work is you use 2-factor authentication once when you configure your account, then forevermore it opens your email when you open the app with no password or pin requirement. Open your Gmail account in Chrome. Open settings in Chrome by clicking the three vertical dots in the top right corner of your browser. Select More tools, then Create shortcut. Make sure that you tick of Open as window. Otherwise it will open as a regular shortcut. Gmail app stopped syncing IMAP accounts. I've got a few IMAP accounts in the Gmail app on my Pixel 7Pro. Since a couple of days ago they have stopped syncing. If I clear cache storage in the app, the accounts resume syncing but only for a short while. I haven't tried to remove and re-set up them though, just clearing the storage. . 0 reilly
